Join an inspiring guided walking tour through Turin’s Holiness District, where faith, history, and social commitment meet. This itinerary reveals the lives of the Social Saints who transformed the city into a beacon of solidarity. Your journey begins in Valdocco, the birthplace of Don Bosco’s mission. Step into the Don Bosco Museum, his house, and the courtyard where he once played with the boys he guided. Enter the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, the monumental church that became the cradle of the Salesian mission and its global outreach. The tour continues through the historic centre, following the paths of Saint Joseph Cottolengo and Saint Joseph Cafasso, two pillars of Turin’s religious and social history. At the Sanctuary of La Consolata, discover one of the city’s most beloved churches, renowned for its collection of touching ex-votos and centuries of devotion. We will end in front of Palazzo Barolo, closely linked to Marchesa Giulia di Barolo, a wise and intelligent woman and founder of the Sisters of Saint Anne. A tour that blends faith, history, and social commitment, where every site tells a story of compassion and dedication. A fascinating guided itinerary to discover Turin’s “Holiness District” – the place with the highest number of Saints and Blesseds per square metre in the world!
