Description
This Turin e-bike tour lasts about three hours and starts at a meeting point in the city centre, where you pick your bike and a helmet. The route is hilly, but the electric assistance means it does not take much effort.
You begin among the Savoy royal squares: Piazza San Carlo with its equestrian monument, Piazza Carignano and Piazza Castello, facing the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama and the church of San Lorenzo. Along the way the guide explains how the Savoy family shaped Turin and how FIAT drove its industrial development.
- The Royal Gardens and the Roman Porta Palatina
- The Mole Antonelliana and a nearby district decorated with murals on sustainability, backed by Lavazza
- The bridge over the Po and the climb to the Cappuccini hill for the view over the city
- Parco del Valentino and its castle, then the lively San Salvario district
The route follows easy cycle paths and shady streets but also roads open to traffic, so decent riding skills are needed. The tour is not for children under 14, for riders shorter than 155 cm or for guests with mobility problems, and it runs with at least 2 participants. Guide, e-bike and helmet are included; hotel pickup is not.
