Description
A vintage dining tram in Turin turns a lunch or dinner into a ride across the centre. You board at Piazza Carlina, take your reserved seat at a fixed table and eat while the restored tram rolls along elegant boulevards and lively piazzas.
Staff serve a set menu as you travel, wine included. The courses run as follows:
- a welcome of focaccia and vitello tonnato
- starters such as Bra-style raw sausage and artichoke salad with Grana
- caprese ravioli with burrata cream and pesto
- roast beef with a glass of Barbaresco
- a mango and passion fruit cheesecake
Wines pair with the courses, and a vegetarian menu is available on request. Allergies and intolerances must be reported when booking.
Tables seat four. Smaller parties may share one with other guests, which is part of the experience. The route covers the main areas of central Turin and may change for events or roadworks. It ends back at Piazza Carlina, with the city centre on hand for a walk afterwards. The whole ride lasts about 80 minutes and works best for couples, friends and small groups. Children who sit on a lap travel free and there is an onboard restroom, but the tram is not accessible to wheelchair users.
