Description
The Egyptian Museum Turin audio guide plays on your own smartphone, so you tour a collection of ancient Egyptian heritage that ranks among the world's most important, with commentary in your ear and no live guide. You decide how long to spend in each gallery, and the visit takes around two hours.
The collection covers some 4,000 years, following pharaohs, temples, scribes and ruling dynasties. You pass statues, sarcophagi, mummies, papyri, funerary objects and finds from excavations that reveal what people believed and how they lived in ancient Egypt, and you learn how Turin ended up with such a major Egyptian collection outside Egypt.
