Description
This cooking class with locals in Turin is held in the home of two hosts, Matteo and Ivan, right in the centre of the city. You cook in a private home, not in a school kitchen.
You choose between two paths. One is fresh pasta in a pair of shapes, each with a fitting sauce, picked from tagliatelle, tajarin, trenette and ravioli. The other is risotto, a classic of the north, with the guidance you need to get it right. Tiramisù is on the menu as well.

When the cooking is done, everyone sits down to eat what has been made, and the hosts share some of their secrets of Italian cooking along the way. It is a good way to taste local ingredients and to take home dishes you can repeat in your own kitchen.
The class takes place indoors or on the terrace, depending on the weather. Tell the hosts in advance about any allergy or dietary need. Transport to the home is not included, and the experience is not recommended for children under 12.
