Description
Turin has a hidden side that most visitors never notice, and this Turin esoteric tour is built around it: hidden symbols, odd legends, alchemy and esoteric secrets that have drawn travellers, writers and scholars for centuries. Somewhere Tour & Events devised it, drawing on the work of the scholars Giuditta Dembech and Renzo Rossotti, and has led visitors along it for nearly thirty years.
The walk begins in Piazza Statuto, nicknamed the heart of darkness, and moves on to the Portone del Diavolo, the Devil's Door. Along the way the guide points out Masonic symbols and tells old tales of sorcery and alchemy, always returning to the idea that Turin has two souls, one white, one black.
