Description

The church was built between 1551 and 1582 to the plan of a much older preceding edifice. Further restorations were performed mid 18th century and at the end of the 19th century. The main altar was designed by Carlo Ceppi (1887) and, among the numerous sepulchres, there is the tomb of Cassiano del Pozzo (1578), the work of Ludovico Vanello. The church was restored in 2003 in order to give it back his ancient beauty.
