Monument to Edmondo De Amicis

The monument to Edmondo De Amicis (1846-1908), author of the book *Cuore*, was created by Edoardo Rubino (1871-1954) in 1914 and inaugurated nine years later in Piazza Carlo Felice. The statue of the "Sower of good words" is symbolically placed before a high relief with portraits of children.
