Inside Sambuy garden, in the center of Carlo Felice square, stands the statue of Massimo d'Azeglio (1798-1866), performed by Alfonso Balzico (1825-1901) between 1867 and 1873, presenting a palette on the base, a book and a sword military symbols of his great eclecticism.
