Monument to the Green Count

The statue of Amedeo VI of Savoy (1334-1383), known as the Green Count, was executed in 1847 by Pelagio Palagi (1775-1860). The monument, which depicts the count during his victorious battle against the Turks, was solemnly inaugurated in 1853 in Piazza Palazzo di Città.
